So I watch the video of the story Whatsapp inventor, it was really touching!, even though the video was less than 2 minutes, but I felt how what’s up inventor suffered from the beginning of his life! It’s not easy at all to be an immigrant! He moved all the way from the Ukraine and worked really hard from the scratch.

 
But the thing is! He never stopped dreaming and kept his way to pursue his dreams starting from studying, renting books and joining courses. Until he got his job in Yahoo company, and like any entrepreneur, he took the risk and quit his job and start building his own business even though he failed at the first time!

 
After a very long way of learning and building experience, he identified his opportunity after recognizing the need of people to have a very rapid, easy and mostly inexpensive method to keep people in touch with each other and communicate in creative way. And the  result was: WhatsApp has born! And start its journey to change our lives.

What is Social Entrepreneurship?

Social Entrepreneurship is the use of creative and innovative methods for the development or creation of projects and institutions that create positive impact on society. Social entrepreneurs are either non-profits or blend for-profit goals by generating a positive “return to society”.

One of the most brilliant and small examples of social entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia is Medd café

The cafe aims at introducing local coffee connoisseurs to international specialty concepts prepared by Saudi baristas.

Medd’s coffee beans are sourced from organic farms that are involved in fair trade and are at high altitudes because the higher the altitude, the better the coffee. This is good news because the first criteria of good coffee is its aroma, which will tell you a great deal about the coffee’s freshness and flavor. Medd Café and Roastery’s standards are strict when it comes to the quality of their beans. The beans they roast and serve are organic, fairly traded, and direct traded.
THE THING IS  Medd café is considering to cooperate with some local Jazani coffee farmers, and would be a great step to activate The local agricultural and build a business for local farmers.
